As the first quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has provided valuable insights into the performance of the top five cryptocurrency applications on the iOS platform in Latin America. Here's a glimpse at how these apps have fared in terms of downloads and user activity.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a fluctuating trend in downloads over the quarter, starting at 25K, peaking at 56K in mid-March, and then slightly dipping to 40K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained robust, ranging from 242K to 333K, indicating consistent engagement on the platform.
The World App - Worldcoin Wallet experienced a significant spike in downloads during mid-February, hitting a high of around 71K before settling to 25K towards the end of March. Active users mirrored this pattern, with a notable peak of 75K in the same month.
For Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether, downloads saw a dramatic increase in March, skyrocketing from a few thousand to over 99K in the third week, before descending to 31K. Weekly active users also saw an uptick, starting at 12K and rising to 17K over the quarter.
Sweat Wallet displayed a more steady trajectory in downloads, maintaining figures between 4K and 8K. The app's weekly active users demonstrated a gradual increase from 61K to 77K, indicating growing engagement with the app.
Lastly, Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH had a mixed pattern in downloads with a notable surge to 22K in late February, a dip, and then another rise to 18K by the end of March. The weekly active users saw a peak of 40K in early March but ended the quarter with around 20K active users.
